Hello, I'm new to these forums. I have a two 128 mb sticks in my Dell Dimension 8200, and would like to at least upgrade one to a 512. The only problem is that for my system, Dell wants me to pay 300 for an adaptable 512 stick that they're sure will run smoothly with my PC. 300 is a little steep for me, as I am a High School Student. My question is, are there any other adaptable memory sticks I can use? If I were to go with a Kingston 512 mb stick from Circuit City/Best Buy, will I have problems with it? My computer was born November 2002, for those wondering. thabnks for your time.
