Hi there i have just gone out an bought a new motherboard for my
pc which is amd amd athlon dual core 64 bit processor the motherboard
is a GIGABYTE GA-M56S-S3 now everything boots up fine and it even
gives me the dual boot option because i have an old sata hard drive
with windows already installed onto it i have been into the BIOS and
searched for problems and at first i could not use my old USB keyboard
which works fine then i went into the BIOS and enabled the settings
for the motherboard to automatically detect when a USB device is plugged
into the motherboard and that worked i even had an older dell ps2 keyboard plugged in that is how i got into the BIOS setup in the first
place and with both keyboards i can move up and down between the
two windows xp dual boot options num lock light comes on and i can turn
it off but when i get to the windows login screen nothing happens i have
only managed to get the mouse moving and i dont understand why but
sometimes i think it was before not sure or after i would select the right
dual boot option and the windows loading screen would come up the computer would just go to a blank screen and just sit there with HD
activity flashing on the on and off button i have had this same problem before when the computer was working and it resolved itself after changing the USB ports around and putting it back into the original USB
port i dont understand why this problem cant resolve itself because it has before and i have tried all of the USB ports on the motherboard and still the same god damn thing happens.

I have had my good computer out now for about two weeks and i am using my brothers older p4 pc to type this message and browse the internet and plus to add to that i bought a micro ATX motherboard
on ebay by accident it supported my ram CPU and all except it would
only support the amd athlon 64 x2 6000 L2 cache model CPU with a
65w and 85w processor not the 125w version how stupid is that of ASUS
for crying out loud now i feel as though i am so close to getting my problem solved but now i feel as though i may have a faulty motherboard
and have to take it back and find another x2 motherboard which wont be easy seem as how it is older out of stock model i am just right now so frustarted and annoyed and my stress levels are just right off the charts.

So could anybody help me out and tell what i can do and what could possible be wrong? plz help me i really need your help i dont know what else to do.
