Which is better? DVI-DVI or DVI - HDMI - DVI wire?

Hey guys I've just bought a new Samsung screen and it have HDMI and DVI Slots. I'm planning to hook up my ps3 and my pc together on that. My pc's video card has a DVI slot. So my question is, is it better to have DVI-DVI cord to connect my comp to my screen or DVI Adapter - HDMI - DVI Adapter? Which one will have a better performance?

DVI to DVI is just fine. DVI and HDMI are both digital signals. The main difference is that HDMI can carry audio.
