My laptop is acting up for some reason because whenever I play a full screen game for a while, fuzzy lines start to pop up on the screen. When I exit the program the problem is gone instantaneously. Can someone help me ?
Re: ATi Radeon Mobility 9000 igp fuzzy video and lines
OK I'll install the program and I usually play old games like need for speed porsche 2000 and need for speed underground 2. No it hasn't always been an issue. I already download a updated driver a week ago.
Re: ATi Radeon Mobility 9000 igp fuzzy video and lines
It is the cpu or system temp I believe. I don't think there's a sensor for the gpu. When it was under a load I tried to send it with the fuzzy lines and video but it ended up showing clear.
Re: ATi Radeon Mobility 9000 igp fuzzy video and lines
Are you sure it could be the inverter because I don't think so. I think it's either the lcd cable or lcd itself. I also have a question which is off topic but here it is: How do you know when a person responds ? How are you promoted to the tsf hardware team ?

Unfortunately without being able to test it cannot be 100% sure but it is the most inexpensive and easiest to change of the component.
Re: ATi Radeon Mobility 9000 igp fuzzy video and lines
Ok thanks for the info. I thought lcd inverters were just for backlights only but I guess I'm wrong because when I opened the computer yesterday before you posted I saw there is two connectors. One connecting to lcd cable and one connecting to the backlight cable.
Re: ATi Radeon Mobility 9000 igp fuzzy video and lines
Tried the suggestion given to me and the inverter card is working correctly.
