WMV FIles Odd colors

I recently installed the newest Catalyst drivers from ATI and whenever i play wmv files in any player i get a weird color overlay or something...



Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

It could be the drivers or the wmv codec. Can you provide a few more details?

What graphics card do you have and which version of Catalyst did you download?
Did you have the same problem with the previous version?
Did you uninstall the old Catalyst before installing the newer version?
Do you only have this problem with wmv or is it all video formats?

Sorry for all the questions, but it helps narrow down the possible cause.

Try installing this free codec pack (the full 2.49 version), reboot and see what happens.

Radeon 9800pro and 5.6 the newest version from ATI
Don't know, just got this card and installed new drivers.
There wasn't an old one.
Just wmv.

It's ok I will just wait for the newer catalyst version, obvisouly 5.6 doesnt like me. The version that came with my gfx card works fine so thats what im using for now.

Nevermind, I installed the 4.6 drivers and then installed the 5.6 over the 4.6 and it solved the problem. Not sure exactly why but hey it works now. Sorry about the double post i couldn't find an edit button.
