Hello there! The problem i have is that the motherboard(ASUS p5vd2-vm) is beeping for a graphics issue and i cannot boot. I pulled out the extra video card and connected the screen's vga cable to the onboard video card but the beep(Award Bios 1 long, 2 short) keeps on. I cleaned the board and the other components (coolers etc.) very well as i also replaced thermal paste cause it is a kind of old uncleaned pc, but the problem is still there. So do someone have any idea why is this happening? :spinning:

Hi there,

Hmmm....take out the CMOS battery on the motherboard and leave it out for just 10sec. Then, put the CMOS battery back on and turn on your computer. See if this process helps get the computer to at least post.

1.Should I try to update the BIOS? Not possible unless the PC will POST.
2.Could it be a power supply issue? Possible but unlikely.
