So, I previously had a gigabyte GTX 770, which ran fine until I wanted to play some games on a 4k monitor, so I decided to upgrade to a GTX1080, but didn't have that much cash; best option I found out there was the eVGA GTX 1080 Gaming (08G-P4-6181-KR).

So I bought it from Newegg and had it shipped up, plug it in, start my computer and... nothing.
so I plug a 1080p monitor into the Integrated graphics and it works fine, and I see on the device manager the GTX 1080 is recognized, but shows
" Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) "
Since then I've power cycled, reinstalled all Nvidia drivers and applications, and done a clean install of the latest Windows 10 Home (x64)

Nothing has worked yet, do I have to return this card?
