I have a Dell Inspiron 530S, which I purchased in April,2008. I am having a problem with my Display Driver which was installed by Dell. (They are very difficult to deal with these days!) When I try to adjust screen resolution, I am able to move the indicator to where I want it, but it then returns to the original position. It doesn't hold. The Drive is Generic PnPMonitor on Intel (R) G33/G31 express chipset family. I get a message that says the current display driver does not allow changes to be made to Hardware acceleration settings. (What's the point of having it?) The past few weeks is the first time I tried to adjust it because of a message saying I needed to change Resolution.
Can you help me?
Thank You

You might want to find the correct display driver and install it. Dell should have it under Support. Just go there and input your Model of Dell and it should come up.
