ATI Radeon x1950 GT screen corruption

That's just your graphics card. We need to see if your 450W PSU is strong enough to power your whole system without causing overheating or voltage fluctuations. You need to enter the full specs (found in Everest) into the calculator. If the total plus 30% is higher than 450W then you are underpowered.

Don't forget about amps though high end ati cards take alot of amps on the 12v rail.

Could a faulty adaptor or inappropriate plugged adaptor cause this problem as well? This morning when the screen was corrupted, I tried to unplug the adaptor and replug and to my surprise the screen was no longer corrupted but I did recieve a error stating:
"VPU Recover has reset your graphics accelerator as it was no longer responding to graphics driver commands. Please tell ATI technologies about this".

Follow by a Don't Send Report and Send Report button below it.

The computer seems to be fine after

Blue Screen Of Death
I just loaded my new ATI Radeon Pro 9800 128 mb video card on my new system and I keep locking up during gaming.
