Yes you would get a performance increase but you might want to go for this

It is more expensive but it gives way better performance.
Newegg.com - HIS H785F2G2M Radeon HD 7850 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Also if you get a new video card you should get a new PSU that way you have enough power to keep your computer safe and healthy.

Newegg.com - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W ATX12V v2.31/ EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High Performance Power Supply

Well a PCI-E 3.0 card will work in a PCI-E 2.0 slot. Well no matter card you get will need a new 650W PSU. I recommend the one I linked. But here I found a HD 6850 for a good price Here is the like for the card. It is about $30 more than the 6770 but performs WAY better. here is the link

Newegg.com - HIS H685FN1GD Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity

Any of the cards you mention represent a significant performance boost over your 8800. Will they play Starcraft II or Skyrim on ultra? Possibly, but at a low frame rate. For smooth game play you will need to be willing to spend several hundred more $$.

Yes, it will play Starcraft 2 well. The TX750 costs about $100, and the HD6850 is $140-160. Are you buying these parts used or new?

Have another look at the replies to your other threads regarding your 430W PSU. Everyone has repeatedly said your PSU is not suitable for a graphics card upgrade.

The CX430 only has a single PCIE power connector. Your new HD6850 graphics card needs a PSU with two PCIE connectors.

You can believe whatever info you have accumulated from other sites, your money-your choice, but we will not recommend any GPU if you intend to use the CX 430W PSU.
