Network A Soundcard?

Is it possible to share a sound card over a network? For example, I want to play a song on my computer but have it being played on another computer's sound card. I need a respose soon because I am DJing at an event tonight.

What you're talking about I don't think can be done over a network.

The same thing could be achieved though with a relay wire (wire with 2 headphone jacks) going from the output of one soundcard into the line-in of another :)
