Windows Vista And Walmart/Netscape Connect Help

Im currently on Windows XP because when I installed Windows Vista Ultimate, it wouldnt let me install/use Walmart/Netscape Connect internet browser. I read somewhere that right-clicking on it, and making it to where its compatible with XP, it should work? But I think I remember trying it and it didnt. I dont remember, because this was a couple months ago, and I really want to use Windows Vista, but Walmart hates it.

Any solutions?

I am having the same problem with a new laptop with vista installed, I can not even use dial-up walmart can not find the modem on laptop. wireless works, so i can get email. geeks at bestby say modem wil not work with vista and walmart. any help word be great. I am using older laptop with xp for now.

having the same problem i just got a new laptop and its doing the same can anyone help.. otherwise i am going to have to switch networks.. ugh that would suck... thanks

I Still have the original walmartconnect CD
and yes its true after netscape informed me that the cd will no longer support on vista I did get it to work.
install the cd after the program starts up close it.
go to search as you are going to search all listings on the cd and install the exe that says XP.
after it loads on the short cut icon right click and change the program to rus as XP.
it works Ive been running it on my vista laptop for the last 1 1/2 years.

Good news now

the new windows 7 ultimate or pro. now can run xp programs sp it sjould load onto that with no problems.

We just need to get netscape to now update the program for better care of us customers.

I have been looking to see if there were any class action against them who knows.

WMconnect finally got a better update and support.
there is now spam control run by aol much better Thank god for that.
and now you can check your mail any computer anywhere. the set up on the spam just happened before the weekend.
