Hi,
Running Chrome, and nothing will download, I keep getting the same message,
Windows can't find C: user/"name"/downloads.
I went in again as administrator, and IE won't do it either, however it tells me the file I am trying to download totally legal files, even purchases... contain a virus.
I have gone back in ...in safe mode but nothing changes.
I'm not clever with computers but I will try and follow instructions given.

Download and save to Documents - http://www.sysnative.com/apps/jcgriff2/user_shell_folders.bat

Use another system if necessary & copy the batch script to your system.

Run it; a Notepad will open. Paste it in to your next post.

Is IE saying "virus" or is your anti-virus saying so?

Please don't be annoyed but how do I do that????

 

IE is saying files have virus, this included trying to download "malawarebytes".......Chrome is saying Windows can't find C: Users\Name\Download...AVG is finding nothing. I ran the windows defender (19hours scan) it found 3 or 4 and fixed them.
But still no difference....
