Hi guys,
My father has purchased a copy of Win 7 Pro 32 bit OEM.
He owns a copy of Vista Home Premium.
He wants to do an upgrade installation, but can't as Microsoft won't allow this. Assuming that a clean install is not an option, how can I upgrade him from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Pro.
If I borrow a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium, can I do an upgrade without a CD-key, then after the upgrade is done use the Windows 7 Pro disk to upgrade that to Pro?
Any ideas? I can't return the disk and the idea of forking out more money for Ultimate just to avoid a clean install is not appealing.
Thanks
