I have just purchased a used laptop with a formated hard drive. It comes with a liscense for Vista. My question is how do I load windows without any OP already on the computer?

if thats not an option, you will need some recovery discs. (or an install disc) you can borrow one and use your number, does it say or do you know what version of vista came on the laptop?....good luck. (hopefully option one will work!)
I think first you create recovery and after that install any operating system.
