Hello,

This is my problem.

I just recently installed Vista x64 and it's great. Before I had 3.5gb ram and
have just purchased a 4GB G.SKILL kit and put those in instead.

Now, to get the 4GB of ram to work I needed to flash my bios it was a known
issue on my board so after I flashed I installed 4GB of ram and once Windows
is loaded Vista runs excellent, no problems there.. but where I thought I would
get a gain, gaming, I'm getting choppy fps when I didn't with 3.5GB of mix memory.
I've tried re-installing my video drivers which did nothing.

System specs:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+
MSI K9A Platinum Motherboard
G.SKILL PC2-8000 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2-1000
Nvidia 8800GT 512MB Videocard

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

steevz
