Unknown Device In Device Manager

Hi

Recently installed vista ultimate x64 fresh on new hd. I have been using the same copy on my older hd for 8 months.

As far as i'm aware i've installed all newest drivers for hardware.

There are two 'other devices' for which no drivers are installed. One I'm pretty certain is the gameport on my audigy 2 zs platinum pro [location = pci bus 2], which isn't supported in vista. the other one is a mystery [location = 'on Msoft ACPI-Compliant System].

I don't care about the gameport but i'd like to get to the bottom of the second device. The thing is the only thing that makes any sense to me in properties/details is in 'siblings' - it looks exactly like the description in the same properties/details for my cpu [athlon 64 x2 6000+] for which there are already 2 instances in 'processors'.

""ACPI\AuthenticAMD_-_AMD64_Family_15_model_67\_0""

etc..

Could this unknown device have something to do with the cpu and might the fact it's unknown be affecting the computer performance?

I can give further info if required. I've no idea what might be needed!

TIA
