I was going to burn a cd today and discovered that the dvd drive was gone! It was there last night before I shut down the computer. It shows in Bios but in Windows Vista! How do I get it back?

Hello, it probably means that your BIOs battery is almost dead, it's the nickel sized circle on the motherboard. I had the same problem on both my XP computers until I popped a new one in. Hope that helps.:smile:
