Hey all, thanks ahead of time for taking a look!
I've had this problem with Adobe Photoshop Extended (CS4 Version 11.0) and Microsoft Paint for about a month now. Anytime I try to "save" or "save as" with either of these programs, Vista produces the "[Photoshop or Paint] has stopped working - Windows is checking for a solution" error. It then, after maybe 15 seconds or so, says "[Photoshop or Paint] has stopped working - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
This happens when I try to save ANYTHING on either of these programs, but it is restricted to only these two programs. Everything else, including all Microsoft Office software and even irfanview, which is another image editing software, work flawlessly. I do not believe that I downloaded any software prior to this problem. I've searched all over the internet for a solution but I can only find people having trouble saving as JPGs, but I cannot save at all with these programs, normally I can find someone who has solved the same problem and I follow their steps but this has absolutely stumped me. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!!

-Complete System Virus Scan via AVAST Pro Antivirus 100305-0
-Disk Check via Command Prompt
-Updated NVIDIA GeForce GT120 Graphics Driver
-Complete Registry Clean via Tuneup Utilities 2010
-Registry Defragment via Tuneup Utilities 2010
-Hard drive Defragment via Vista and Tuneup Utilities 2010
