Hi,

I have hit a brick wall and would really appreciate some help.

Recently I noticed my IE9 opening really slowly (about a minute until loading page). I ran Malwarebytes, Avast, Chkdsk/f/r, sfc/scannow and I have now ended up with this;

:sad:

From this log I have identified these errors:-

2014-03-04 14:09:27, Error CSI 00000080 (F) STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND #1550655# from Windows::Rtl::SystemImplementation::DirectFileSystemProvider::SysCreateFile(flags = (AllowSharingViolation), handle = {provider=NULL, handle=0}, da = (STANDARD_RIGHTS_READ|FILE_READ_ATTRIBUTES), oa = @0xe0e80c->OBJECT_ATTRIBUTES {s:24; rd:NULL; on:[120]"\??\C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft-windows-b..iondata-cmdlinetool_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6001.18000_none_882afcc5a52ba04b"; a:(OBJ_CASE_INSENSITIVE)}, iosb = @0xe0e82c, as = (null), fa = 0, sa = (FILE_SHARE_READ|FILE_SHARE_WRITE|FILE_SHARE_DELETE), cd = FILE_OPEN, co = 0x00004000, eab = NULL, eal = 0, disp = Invalid)

I only have an OEM recovery disk, so I can't do an upgrade.

PLease can someone tell me the best solution. Many thanks

Hi and Welcome to TSF!

If you have the Windows Vista installation disc or Repair disc you can boot from that. After booting to the disc you can run Windows Startup Repair to repair those files.

SFC cannot find them or they are too corrupt. They will however be located on the disc.
