Just purchased headphones and plugged in to my Computer (Windows Vista) and all I get is static.

Yes, I have tried other headphones on that same plug and it works just fine.
Also, since I wrote the first message I tried the Sennheiser Headphones on my TV, which has an older pair of Sennheiser Headphones and it did not work on the TV either. The on/off light and recharge light for batteries on headphones did not work either, so I send back the headphones from where I purchased them.
I asked for refund, since I'm nervous about getting another pair of Sennheiser Headphones.
