I want to run an old game on my computer. I have Windows Vista 64-bit, I have 4 GB of ram. Now I installed the game on Compatibility Mode and the game starts but I can't see the units while I'm playing. I also noticed that this game shows some of your pcs specs and there I saw that it only detected 112 Mb of RAM, while I actually have 4 GB. Then I modified my boot settings to use only 2 GB of ram and the game started working fine, I saw all the units, etc. Only problem is that I don't know if changing maximum RAM on boot will eventually cause a problem. I would like to know if there's a way of running the game with less RAM (2 GB) since I don't want to be changing the boot settings every time I want to play this game.

If your Comaptiblity mode doesn't do the trick then run the game in backwards compatilbility Mode say for windows 98 and also run in Administrator Mode. That worked for me when I was trying to run Vampire Masquerade and the game runs great now.
