I uninstalled video driver and reinstalled using generic windows driver, videos now work but Windows Aero does not. Went to video card site and downloaded the driver for my Nvidia FX5200, now windows Aero works but now back to videos not displaying. This seems odd because until recent, Aero and Nvidia driver would work with no issues.
In FF go to Tools/Add-Ons choose each add-on and choose Remove or Disable. Do one at a time until you find the culprit. Enable all the rest if you want or not
Then go to Start/Search and type appwiz.cpl and press enter, in Programs and Features, look to see if the add on is there and Uninstall it.
Then Avast is the problem. You can either Disable Avast when on YouTube or you can uninstall it all together. With the Avast Clear Utility
Windows Defender comes free with Windows 10, Windows 10 Anniversary edition works much better, there is no reason to install a 3rd party Anti-Virus product
I followed the suggested info by Masterchief, deleted all account info, renamed folders, refreshed, re-installed, still no video. And to top it off I forgot to save all my bookmarks.
I have disabled ALL plugins and still no video. If I restart Firefox in safemode videos will display. I don't understand.
