My notebook doesn't recognize my internal speakers anymore

Even when I go to the control panel for audio devices, nothing comes up. Is anyone familiar with this problem or have a solution?

Re: My notebook doesn't recognize my internal speakers anymore

Go to Device Manager, expand the "sound..." tree, uninstall each one via RIGHT-click, select "uninstall"

Re-boot. Vista will re-install upon boot-up.
