I have no idea how or why it's doing this. It will just play a tv show (I can only hear the audio) and I can't turn it off.

I tried going to the task manager and I closed everything I could, but somehow it still plays. It will play, then stop for a bit, then start playing again. Is this a virus? Has anyone heard of this before? and can someone suggest how to stop it?

Thank you, Brad

When did you get the computer and when did this problem start? Have you tried a system restore?

Is it from a line-in?
I've seen it happen that line-in is on pass through, or it's set to mute when no program is set to open it.

I got my computer about 2-3 years ago. It just started within the past couple weeks. I have done a system restore, but I'm still having a problem. It seems to be happening much less often than it had before, but it's still going.

I'm not sure what you mean about if it is a line-in.

Also, this is around the same time that my computer detected 3 viruses/malware. But according to my anti-virus it is supposed fixed.

Thank you,
Brad
