Hello, I need help My Microsoft works came pre-installed with my Toshiba L505D laptop w/windows 7, and now when I try using it I get,
Microsoft works cannot access one or more files it needs to run. The files may have been renamed, deleted, or moved. Try reinstalling Microsoft Works and then starting again.
Well I have all the backup & recovery, applications & drivers, toshiba recovery dvds 1,2,&3, and Windows Recovery Enviorment (64-bit) discs that I created when my laptop was brand new. So do you know if somewhere on one of these discs has works to re-install, and if so which one do I use? Thank you for your time!!

Try going to Control Panel>Programs and Features locate Microsoft Works right click on it and see if you can select "Change" this may allow you to repair installation of Microsoft Works.

If not load each disk and search for a Microsoft Works install.exe file
if you find one uninstall Microsoft Works by the methods above, reboot then reinstall Microsoft Works.
