Media center intercepts pdf files

How do i stop windows media center in win 7 from trying to open a pdf file in an email message when i click on the attachment?

RIGHT-click on the attachment and SAVE the PDF.

If all PDF files open w/ Windows Media Center, re-install Adobe reader -

how can i stop media center in win 7 from intercepting pdf files as attachments on incoming e-mails? whenever i open an attachment in outlook that is a pdf file it takes me to the microsoft media center which does not read pdf files. is there a way to disable this action?

Sorry, i came back later and could not find the thread i had created. thinking it had not posted i created a new one. i have uninstalled and reinstalled adobe reader (9.3) and continue to have the problem. if i right click on the file and save it i can bring up reader and open it that way but it is not a satisfactory answer. media center should not be trying to open a pdf file.

I'm having the same problem...not only with email attachments, but ANY PDF file.

I've uninstalled and re-installed the newest Adobe Reader. I even downloaded some PDF reader...something called Babylon....very invasive...and pdf files STILL are intercepted by Windows Media Center.
Help please. This is most annoying.
