I have a Dell Insperation 530.
The Control panel on the bottom left of the screen that reacts to the Mouse seems only to work sometimes.
If the background screen is black then the mouse pointer is highlighted only intermittedly on the control panel.
When the background screen was the standard Desktop screen ie all icons showing then the mopuse pointer works OK
