I have ArcSoft Quick DVD s/w installed on my Windows 7 PC. The s/w was originally installed on a Windows XP pc & the pc was upgraded to a Windows 7 pc (totally different pc). The Windows XP pc had an internal DVD drive/burner while the Windows 7 pc has an external DVD drive/burner. The ArcSoft Quick DVD s/w does now recognize the DVD drive/burner. Do I need to uninstall & re-install the s/w or what?

All burner programs do not support all DVD burners. The Arc Soft version you have may be specifically written for the DVD burner in the previous computer. You can try to download the latest version Download Quick DVD Creator 4.90 Shareware by video2x.com
But the best solution is to use the free CDBurner XP. It will burn CD's and DVD's.
