laptop "locked" when comes out of sleep

When the lid is closed on this laptop, it goes into *sleep-mode* --- when I open the lid, it says *locked* - I have to click on my name in order to get into Windows.
How can I get rid of this *locked* when I open the computer lid and simply go right straight to Windows?

Hi,

Go to Control Panel->Power Options then down the left hand side of the window is a link to change the "Require Password on wake-up" feature
