Is it possible to install Vista on an external HD? I know it isn't officially possible, the install prog. gave me a message saying that I couldn't, but is there a way around it? Can you install Linux to an external drive? :)

Hi rousseau,

As Vista™ is still in its 'beta' stages, and Microsoft® have set very strict gudelines regarding its installation; in my honest opinion, NO it will not let you install it on an external Drive.
This is because of the EULA that Vista™ has with regards to installation.
So, its on an 'internal' or not...sorry.
