I have been using Office 2000 with XP + SP3 on my desktop but now also have a laptop with Vista + SP1.
I have decided to install Office 2007 onto the laptop, initially, and would like to know if there are likely to be any problems that I should be aware of, or likely to experience before I install?
Many other options with 2007. Same platform though can't see any issues at all installing Office 2007. Free for three months I believe unless you have a bought copy. Be sure to update your installation from Microsoft. Automatic updates should have you covered.
I have bought a copy of Microsoft Office Standard 2007 with 2 licence and will also install it onto my desktop that runs with
XP + SP1 and Office 2000 when I am happy with Office 2007.
I assume that it will automatically register with Microsoft when I install so that I will also automatically receive the updates?
Can you please advise the position with respect to e-mail?
I am currently using Windows mail, Outlet Express with XP system,
what will happen to the e-mail platform when I install the Office 2007?
Will Windows Mail be retained as well as Outlook 2007(e-mail) or will I only be left with Outlook 2007(e-mail)?
Since it is another platform will I loose all sent e-mails if
Outlook 2007(e-mail) is the only option installed?
If I want to retain Windows Mail how can that be done?
