how to remove old version of windows installation?

Hi,

I have a new laptop with Windows 7. While installing windows 7, the dealer has given the entire 280 odd gb in one drive. In order to have more partitions, i tried reinstalling and installed with 4 partitions.

After that as and when i boot my laptop, i have been popped up with a list of OS, one that i recently installed, and the previous one installed at the tiem of purchase.

I don't want this to popup. by default it has to select the recent installation.

Can any one help me how to do it?

Raghavan

Re: how to remove old version of windows installation?

Is it your different drive or the partition of the same drive ( HDD )which contains other windows??

If it is your same drive delete all the partitions of it, format the drive and then again install windows in one drive in which you want after creating partitions.

This is the simple way if you don't want Dual boot.
