Right click the TaskBar and start the Task Manager. Go to the Processes tab. If you see any process for Hotspot shield, end the Process.
Use Hunter Mode in Revo to uninstall it.Uses of “ Hunter Mode” in Revo Uninstaller | Techdows
Now download Junkware Removal Tool. Run it, A DOS window appears. Press any key. It will start scanning automatically.
Now download ADWCleaner. Run it, Install it, Scan, leave everything checked. Clean. Both programs will show a text document when they are done showing you what it has removed.
Then download and run Temp File Cleaner Run it, it will shut down all programs and automatically restart.
If you still have problems,. Try this suggestion:

SOLVED, I was able to bring up the local area connections properties and what I did was uncheck everything then put a check mark in the box with
hotspot shield and uninstall it from there, it worked, its gone.
spunk.funk, Thank you for the reply, I have revo and will try the hunter mode next time. I never used that before either. Thanks again.
