With almost every startup I get Event 315 error 2114. "The print spooler failed to share printer HP LaserJet P2050 Series PCL6 with shared resource name HP LaserJet P2050 Series PCL6. Error 2114. The printer cannot be used by others on the network." The printer works fine and I can share it, but I still get the error, and that's troublesome.

I've tried all the usual solutions--disabling IPV6, checked the Server service and all dependencies, nothing in logs.

Here are the details:

Thanks for thinking about this.

Try making the print spooler service a delayed startup.

Thanks for the suggestion, but you can not change print spooler service to "delayed automatic." You can an error 87 code.

My System

Try this: Event ID 315
Event 315 with error 2114 on startup - Microsoft Reduce Customer Effort Center - Site Home - TechNet Blogs
If the PCL 6 driver isn't working, try the PCL 5. Or the Universal driver. HP LaserJet P2055 Printer series*-* Download drivers and software - specify product name - HP Business Support Center

Thank you SF. I've indeed tried the solutions in the links you kindly passed on. The PCL driver works fine -- as I said I can print -- but I can't seem to get rid of the 315 Event warning in Admin Logs. The key is clearly getting the Server service to start before the print spooler starts because the Server service is a dependency of the print spooler. And, yes, the same basic architecture supports the PCL5 Driver so it too produces the 315 warning in the log.

Zorin boit error
When I try to load Zorin OS on my XP machine via a bootable USB (created by UNetBootin), my screen says 'Boot Error'. I'd assume this is a UNetBootin problem, since an interface for it opens before it boots the OS. Also, title typo. :P
