Sorry if the title is misleading. I don't know how to describe this :S

Also sorry if this is wrong section. I don't know what causes the problem so either do i know what section to post it into : o

Hello.

So lets start by explaining the problem. When i start my computer all goes as normal but when it's time for the desktop to appear it wont. All i see is black screen and it opens one file (file is not important i think, but i will see what it is on next restart). I can't see ANYTHING else than the file.

I can go to internet etc. everything that i can find through the file (by changing the fileroute) works just fine.

Before this started to happen i did no major changes if any changes at all. I have no idea why this started to happen.

I was going to try to return my system back couple days, but ended up realizing that i cant find it from anywhere else than the Start - menu. And as i stated, i can't see Start- menu. Help on this would be nice also.

If needed to tell something else about my computer just ask and i will tell.

If there is a chance that this is caused by a virus it might be possible.

Thanks already for anyone who tries to help. I appreciate it!

patience my dear Frexix .. It's Easter, people are away, busy or from a totally different time zone to you ... and we are all volunteers here .. unpaid assistance, that's why you get it free!!

first off we need to know what that message is you are seeing and I am not really sure what you are doing .. I am guessing that you have lost all your icons on your desktop and that you are using the main menu to gain access to programs.

can you try a printscreen to show us your desktop? save it to a file on your PC after saving it in paint.
show it here by storing it on an "image host" like imageshack and posting the link.

thx

happy easter
