There is a cursor related feature in Windows that I find really annoying.
When the cursor has been left a position for a period of time (without being clicked) it becomes “active” .
The result is that I will be typing away, and suddenly the newly typed text will start appearing earlier in the sentence, a previous paragraph, or sometimes a completely different window….
It is infuriating.
Any comments on how to fix this / turn it off, or at least, what it is called, so that I can search for the control to the feature would be appreciated.
I found and disabled a feature called “smart cursoring” which did not appear to resolve the problem.
Thanks in advance for any tips or suggestions.
