compag presario start up alarm

Hi,

When I switched on the compaq presario V3500 notebook PC an alarm sounded and it goes off when I pressed F1. Prior to this I have deleted the MS office 2007 as I was unable to unstall it in the normal way.

hope tech support or any kind soul can help me on this.

Does the laptop boot into Windows?

Do you receive any error message on the screen?

is the alarm more like beeps? If so how many?

Hi,

After I pressed F1, the alarm sound (continuous "dong" sound not beep) stopped and it boot into window and worked normally. No error message on the screen.

I all started when the mouse failed to work normally as it "jumped" into email desk top icon when I clicked any icon.

I disfragment and delete sone unwanted program like microsoft office 2007 not by uninstall on the control panel. I restarted the notebook PC and the alarm sounded which went off when I pressed F1.

Press F2 (Setup/Bios) and save the settings to Default. Save and Exit.
