Bios clicking with every keystroke

Hi,

Sometime last night I fell asleep:sleep: at the PC and woke to the sound of too many keys being pressed. My head was resting on the keyboard:4-thatsba. The problem now is the bios is clicking with every keystroke and will not let me type anything repeatedly. Even the word food unless i wait either 3 seconds or make a typo on purpose and then backspace over it. I also can`t backspace more than 1 at a time or more than 1 every 3 seconds. Also My top row is wrong in the upercase section. starting at 1 and ending at +/- it reads as follows
!is1
"is2 :4-dontkno
/is3 :4-dontkno
$is4
%is5
?is6 :4-dontkno
&is7
*is8
(is9
)is0
_is-
+is=
Obviously some of these are right. But there is also some other items that are wrong as well. the question mark is É:4-dontkno and the quotes are`:4-dontkno. this is very frustrating. The clicking only started last night but the odd characters has been there a couple of days.

I am running vista sp2 and have norton 360 runing.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Katz

i think you set the default keyboard language to a different language

Try This:

Start-->Control Panel-->Region and Language.

1.) Click the "Keyboards and Language" tab

2.)Click change keyboards

3.)Click the drop-down and select English(United States)-US

Note-if you use a language other than English then select that instead
