Hello,
well the title pretty much says it all.
I had been getting BSODs always, but I knew how to 'control' them (since I newly installed 7, I just had to start my PC, and once Windows ran and I could login, I restarted it.. and everything worked fine.. no BSOD). However, this time, I just felt like giving it a try the first time (login in without the restart), and well, I shouldn't have.
I got a BSOD, which by then I thought was normal, but then when the PC restarted, at the black controllers-screen I get the message "A disk read error occurred - Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart".
This I couldn't avoid: if I restarted I got to the very same screen and so on; I've searched for help in other places (some mention changing the slave/master functions of the hard drive and so on.., but none work), so I come to you.
Please, I urgently need your help. Thank you in advance.
Chris
