60gb used in my HDD, Vista says 100gb

Hey,

Some weeks ago I bought a new computer with Vista. One of the first things I noticed was that the disk space used isn't correct.

It now says I got 359gb of 460gb free, but I only used 60gb of space (selecting everything in the c-drive and looking how large it is).
I downloaded a file of some kb's (no, not malware, it had to do with my website) and yes, 8gb are lost, but the file is only some kb's.

I have this problem since I bought this computer. It's OEM, so it wasn't used before. 2 weeks ago or something I was infected with Vundo and, I know this sounds strange, it was 'recalculated', my free disk space was correct! I cleaned the compuer on MWR and I'm 100% sure it's malwarefree now, but it's back doing this strange thing.

Here are some screenshots:

Everything selected in my HDD:

Operating system is Vista, I updated already to SP1 and installed all the updates, but that didn't solve it.

What do you mean by
That program gives me another number:
71.734MB
The program will show you what is using ALL the space. You have to look through the folders on your drives to account for all the used space until you find something using way too much.

Restore Points are stored in "System Volume Information" folder. Just check how big it is while you are at it.
If you only have a few Restore Points they won`t be taking up all the space.

NOTHING is using too much space. The program says the TOTAL space used is only 71.734MB.

Just lost another 5gb and I didn't download anything.

EDIT:
I found something VERY strange now. In my first post, I said this:
It now says I got 359gb of 460gb free
Now it's telling me I got only 357gb free (just deleted some folders, that's why you don't see 5gb less space), but when I look at my hardrive like in picture #1, it's still telling me I'm using 102gb!

I can't find the 'hide protected system files'. Where do I need to look for it?

Thanks :)

EDIT:
I found it already.
66.6gb is used included system and hidden files.
Vista still says that 102gb is used and sometimes some gb's disappears without any reason...

I can't think of anything else. Perhaps scan the computer for malware, or post an HJT log in the HJT section to see if its really malware free?

EDIT1: Sorry didn't see your post above. Wait, let me reboot into Vista and then I'll tell you.

EDIT2: Oh. Then I've no idea, sorry. :4-dontkno

I got this problem since I bought the computer. It's an OEM version, so it wasn't started up before, so it can't be malware.

Ah, come on, this can't be true...
The Vundo-infection recalculated the free space, you can't tell me a malwarefree tool can't do that...

Great to see you fixed it. Ok, so that's why it appeared to have been "corrected" during Vundo infection. Vundo deletes the system restore points (my system once got infected with it and I got great help here in TSF).

But why did the space occupied by system restore not show up when you selected all files (including system and hidden files)?
