Simple RAM question

Hello all, I currently have 2 GB of RAM running on my system, and as far as I know they are running in Dual Channel. I am looking into adding new RAM for my system, 2GB, and I was wondering if I needed to get RAM that is the same exact model as my current RAM?

If it's exactly the same it's most likely to work, but as long as it's the same clock speed, timings, and most importantly voltage, it should work.
