Re: Missing drivers
Sorry, thought I had linked the driver file.
For the Chipset Graphics choose:
Windows XP > IGP Graphics Driver > SiS66x/SiS76x/SiS67x
For the Audio the link should take you to the Realtek site. You have to accept the agreement then click next. Download the one for Windows XP

I've followed the link, but twice now it's stated my WinZip trial has expired.

Re: Missing drivers
You should be able to download and save the driver then install on the PC.
What is listed in Device Manager under Network Adapter?
You shouldn't have to run the driver scanner.

Re: Missing drivers
Let Windows extract the file instead of using Winzip.
If unsuccessful you can use
7-Zip to open the files.

Re: Missing drivers
How are you trying to connect? Wireless or wired?
If you connect wired it should be working.
Install the wireless driver
here (point the wizard to the location of the extracted files)
Do you have Sound?
If not perform the following steps:
-Uninstall the Realtek Audio driver and restart Windows.
-Download and install the Microsoft UAA driver
here
-Restart Windows and then install the Realtek HD Audio driver

Re: Missing drivers
What file did you install on the USB drive?
If you used the CNET link it will download you need to click Run to download the setup file.
Once this has been done you can then remove the USB drive and insert into the problem laptop.
There is a Setup.exe file that you can click on and follow the steps.
Are you able to get internet access if you plug the laptop directly to the modem/router?

Make sure you are trying to connect to your wireless network.
You will then need to input your wireless encryption key.

Re: Missing drivers
Are there any problem listed in Device Manager?
Are you still getting the sistray.exe error when restarting.
This is part of the Utility Tray that was installed with the graphics driver. If still getting the error at startup we can remove this as it is not needed.

Click Start > Run > type msconfig ? click OK
Go to the startup tab and look for Utility Tray. If present uncheck apply and exit.
See if you still get the message.
