Hi, I'm Adrian. I think my problem is similar to this, so I'm gonna post here. Hope it's ok with everyone. Under Device Manager>Other devices, both the Ethernet Controller and PCI Modem has a yellow question mark with a smaller circled exclamation mark. So, I'm gonna do what Bill asked. Hopefully I did it right.
This is for the Ethernet Controller.
PCI\VEN_17FE&DEV_2220&SUBSYS_03051468&REV_00\4&16793A72&0&20F0
and this is for the PCI Modem
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_24C6&SUBSYS_00641025&REV_03\3&61AAA01&0&FE

Oh! I can't connect to the internet via wireless and dial up. LAN's working superb. I don't need the dial up, just the wireless.

Thanks in advance,
Adrian.

My System

Hi,
Welcome to TSF.
I have moved your post to its own thread.
Can you give me the make and model of this computer?

From the info you gave it appears you have a Ralink (Chipset) RT2500

http://www.ralinktech.com/ralink/Hom...t/Windows.html

See if either the PCI/mPCI/CB (RT2500) for a PCI wireless card or the USB
(RT2500USB) if it is a USB wireless card connection.

As far as the modem, the make and model of the computer may help me.

Thanks,
Bill
