Windows 7 Installation can't find my hard drive. help!
Please help me.
A month ago I dropped my HP Pavillion dv6-1299ea on the floor causing the hard drive to fail - when i when to check the hdd
test it said that nothing was detected.
Today I purchased the same hard drive (2.5 sata WD 320gb) I plugged it in and ran the windows 7 installation and I got to the
part where it says "select the driver to be installed" and nothing is there! Is this because I purchased he hard drive
new and it is wiped and has nothing on it?? How can I solve the problem?? Do I need to install a driver to run the hard drive, but I cant access
my computer because there is no OS installed! I cant find my recovery disk as well :(
