Can I use the WD5000 as a USB external storage device and what jumper setting do I use? I have an ICOMDATA external hard drive with the right cable connectors but my laptop does not recognize the WD5000. It will recognize an IDE Drive.

ost externals want to see a master drive, on WD that would be no jumper sinc it is a single drive
