WD External My Books no longer recognized

I have 9 3tb My Book 1130s. Yesterday ALL of them stop being recognized by windows. (7 and 8)
I do not have them all plugged in at once. They are back ups.

To resolve this:
I bought a new powered USB hub for 3.0.
I have swapped out all the cables.

In device manager it shows.
WD SES Device is working.
In disc management it shows the drives as uninitialized and can not be made Online, nor can I access changing their drive letters. "Device is not ready"
There is NO WAY ALL 9 drivers failed at once.
I contacted Microsoft and they said I had to contact WD and WD said I had to contact Microsoft.
I have spent countless hours going though every post and suggestion to no avail. I ever updated the firmware on one of the drives. Nothing.

Please advise me on this as I am desperate. These are work machines and the data and their back up are not replaceable.

If there is not enough power to the drives, they will loose their Table of Contents. If these drives have their own power adapter, plug it directly into the wall socket and not through a power strip or surge protector as this will diminish the power.
Be sure to plug the USB cable into the Back USB port of the computer and not the front as this diminishes the power.
To recover your data, use the Free TestDisk program. I have had the best luck with GetDataBack. You will need another drive of the same size or larger to restore your files to.

I plugged one of them into the wall, and then into the back USB3.0 port. It is still not recognized.

I can not 'recover' all 9 drives worth of information. Each has 3 tbs on it. There is at least 11-14tbs of content. There has to be another way. It is insane that they would all fail on the same day. Some had not been plugged in for weeks. When I noticed the first drive 'not recognized', I immediately went to it's back up. Different power supply and usb cable. Still nothing. one after the other.

There has to be another fix. :banghead:

If your external drive is not recognized in the Bios, and If TestDisk or GetDataBack can't recognize any of your drives, then your only other alternative is to send them to a very, very expensive Data Recovery Specialist.
