For a reason even i dont know why, i unplugged my hard drive from SATA1 and plugged it in RAID1. Now all hell broke loose. On windows loading screen i get BSOD, tried booting from cd, after driver loading when windows is starting up BSOD again. Now after i made some changes in BIOS it says NTLDR missing. BSOD code is 0x00000024 ( 0x001902FE, 0xF7902218, 0xF7901F14, 0x00000001) . I reseted BIOS same thing, loaded deafult settings same again. Confusing part is that bios reads hdd drive, and later pc acts like it isnt there. Any suggestions please ?
By best guess is when you went to Raid1 the raid controller re-wrote the boot sector info on the drive. The data is still there however you will need to recover it in a working computer using a tool like r-studio to find the data and save off to another drive.
There wasn't much important data, so it not a priority, main goal is to reestablish OS. The problem is i can't install windows i get BSOD on installing too.
BSOD what is the code ? Have you ran memtest86 to test your ram ? also you can download dban and burn a cd boot with it type quick at the prompt let it run for about 5 min to wipe the beginning of the drive and try again after you know the ram is ok.
Then you either burned the CD wrong and it won't boot or the CD drive is not working and wont boot its one or the other. Do you have another computer to see if the dban CD will boot in it ? that will narrow down the issue a bit. Do you have an external USB CD drive to test with ?
