I have a strange problem with my PC since yesterday.
At first it started with a blue screen during the booting of Windows, which I couldn't even read, because it disappeared in a split second.
After that it kept saying: Select proper boot device.
When going into my BIOS it does recognize my HDD at first, but after trying to boot Windows and getting the blue screen it's not listed anymore.
When trying to use my usb stick with Windows on it, it also doesn't recognize it, but when starting directly into the recovery mode, I can use the console to browse it.
Furthermore now there's not even a blue screen anymore it's just freezing when showing the Windows logo.
More information:
Device: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 ST3000DM001
OS: Windows 7 SP 1
HDD is spinning, so it's not completely dead.
Safemode isn't starting, keeps freezing at aswrvrt.sys or not at all.
SATA cable is fine, even tried plugging in a new one.
Please help me with that
Edit: forgot to say, Recovery mode says the drive is D: even though it used to be C:, is that a problem?
