For some uknow reason i've developed a problem with quicktime. Operating on XP. It's loaded but each time i try to open it i get a pop up- Quicktime not installed. Error #63440- I've tried completely uninstalling and relaoding several time with no luck- any help would be most welcome
if you changed any playback settings yourself, set them back to the way they were - video mode in particular. use the icon in the control panel to change settings. you could also check for updates - again use the icon in the control panel.
The saga continues- it appears to be related to itunes. itunes needs QT7 to run. i can run QT6 but not when downlaoded with itunes. i'm trying to see if i can download seperately or run two versions of QT
If you have desktop icon, right click on "properties", "Compatability" folder check on "Run the program in compatability mode for: Windows 2000"
This worked for me and I am running Windows XP. Hope this helps.
